Gasoline prices are exploding!

May 9th, 2007 by Randy Oxentenko

High gas pricesYesterday, as I was going to meet some friends at lunch, my car started sputtering, and I realized I had ignored the low fuel warning light for too long. I pulled in to a Phillips 66. The gasoline price for 87 octane was $2.999. I put in $5.00 worth of gasoline. As I pulled away from the station, THE LOW-FUEL WARNING LIGHT WAS STILL ON! Ouch! If $5.00 can’t take me off the low-fuel warning status, things are getting ugly.
